My original ''Distance from your true self Tshirt''
This is an original T-shirt I made about 2 years ago. Please check the photos for condition.
I made this T-shirt for myself at home, with my best friend or my family.
Here I call it "my real self".
In other places, you may call yourself the "external self.
With the spread of social networking services, I feel that the distance between the "real self" and the "external self" is widening.
We may be creating a better version of ourselves to avoid the risk of being seen by others or being exposed to our bad parts.
However, I cannot judge whether this widening distance is a good thing or a bad thing.
Sometimes the complex about the "real me" is so strong that the "external" self (the self that one is pretending to be) is more comfortable.
On the other hand, there may be times when the gap between the "outer" and "real" selves makes us feel uncomfortable, or we may become tired of it. In other words, each person has his or her own way of feeling this widening distance, and the wearer's interpretation is reflected and changes the face of the garment. The picture is divided in the middle, and its right and left sides are depicted as the "exterior" and the "real self.
